TASS-FILE. 4 Oct 2017 it became known that President of Russia Vladimir Putin accepted the early resignation of the Governor of Primorsky Krai Vladimir Miklushevsky. Acting head of the region appointed Andrei Tarasenko, who previously held the position of General Director of FSUE “Rosmorport”. The head of state was informed during the working meeting with Andrei Tarasenko.
Vladimir Miklushevsky headed the region since February 2012 – a total of 2046 days (34th place for the duration of his tenure as the operating heads of subjects of the Russian Federation). Economic indicators
For the period of stay of Vladimir Miklushevsky for the post of Governor of gross regional product (GRP) of Primorsky Krai increased by 28.55% from 557 billion 489 million rubles in 2012 to 716 billion 650 million rubles in 2015 (Rosstat; the data is for 2016 not published). According to this indicator in 2012, the region occupied 25-e a place among subjects of the Russian Federation, in 2015 – 26-E. thus, according to the regional administration, the volume of GRP in 2016 pre-amounted to 745 billion rubles.
According to Rosstat, gross regional product per capita from 2012 to 2015 increased by 29.73%, from RUB 57 286 thousand to 371 thousand RUB 99 (27th in 2012, 29th in 2015).
In 2012 the deficit of the regional budget amounted to 4 billion 474 million rubles. Income 98 billion 550 million rubles., expenses – 103 billion 24 million rubles (21-e a place among Russian regions for both indicators). In 2016 the budget of the Primorsky territory was executed with a surplus of 4 billion 647 million rubles While the revenue increased by 14.53% to 112 billion 870 million rubles, expenses – by 5.05% to 108 billion 223 million rubles (24th place according to these indicators).
In the region budget for 2017 laid down a deficit of 9 billion 375 million rubles Revenues are expected to decrease by 18.2% to 92 billion 331 million rubles, expenses – by 6.02% to 101 billion 706 million rubles.
Investments in fixed capital territory in 2016 amounted to 123 billion 500 million rubles, which is 39.22% less than in 2012 For this indicator, the region has worsened its position, moving from 19th place among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in 2012 to 32nd place in 2016.
According to the rating of Russian regions, published by the magazine “Profile” at the end of 2016, Primorsky Krai is located at the 25th place on the level of living of the population, on the 23rd – on the level of economic development, on the 87th – economic dynamics (economic development and the dynamics of rating is 87 positions, because it includes the Arkhangelsk and Tyumen region with districts and without them).
Social services
During the stay of Vladimir Miklushevsky for the post of Governor of the Primorsky territory, the population of the region decreased by 1.44% – from 1 million 951 thousand as at 1 Jan 2012 to 1 million 923 thousand at the same date, 2017 (the place among the constituent entities of the Russian Federation has not changed – 25-e). The birth rate per 1 thousand people decreased by 3.17%, from 12.6 person in 2012 to 12.2 in 2016 this indicator in 2012, the region was divided 48-53 places the Republic of Karelia, Saint-Petersburg, Stavropol Krai, the Magadan and Arkhangelsk areas, and in 2016 – 49 to 51-th place with Altai Krai and Kaluga oblast.
Mortality per 1 thousand population decreased by 0.73% – from 13.7 per person in 2012 (the edge shared 44-45 places with the Republic of Mari El) to 13.6 in 2016 (39-42 places from Chelyabinsk, Arkhangelsk and Volgograd regions). The unemployment rate fell by 0.9 percentage points from 6.9% in 2012 (Primorsky Krai was divided 26-28-th place with the Nenets Autonomous district and Omsk region) to 6% in 2016 (41-43 positions with the Kaliningrad oblast and the Republic of Mari El).
The average monthly wage increased by 31.56% compared to 2012 and amounted to 2016 36 106 thousand rubles (17-th place in 2012, 18 in 2016). During the same period, the average monthly pension increased at 89.95% to 17 715 thousand rubles (23 – place in 2012 and 2016).
From 2012 to 2016 the number of crimes on 100 thousand population has decreased by 17.64% (from 2 thousand to 2 thousand 466 31), the region improved its position in the national ranking, moving from 3rd to 15th place.

The effectiveness rating of heads of Russian regions, published by the Foundation for civil society development in June 2016, Vladimir Miklushevsky was included into the second group of heads of subjects of the Russian Federation (“high rating”). Occupied 31-e a place, having 70 points.
