MOSCOW, October 20. /TASS/. The speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko received a letter from the interim Chairman PACE Stella Kyriakides. She stated on Friday following the meeting with Secretary General of the Council of Europe Thorbjørn Jagland.
“I and my colleague Vyacheslav Viktorovich Volodin, we received a letter from the new President of the Assembly, the terms of which expire in January. It’s such a transitional Chairman. Nevertheless, this is the head PACE, which has also effects on the processes,” – said Matvienko.
Speaking about a possible meeting with her, she noted that the timing is not yet determined. “The timing of this meeting has not yet identified a letter only 13 numbers come. As soon as Madam Chairman manifest this desire – it is now such a busy schedule taking office. As soon as she shaswat such a desire, of course, we will agree a mutually convenient time, will meet”, – said Matvienko.
