The city Council has terminated the powers of Deputy Klychkov, who became the acting head of the Orel region


MOSCOW, October 25. /TASS/. Deputies of the Moscow city Duma (MHD) adopted in three readings a draft resolution providing for the early termination of powers of the Deputy of capital Parliament Andrey Klychkov in connection with his appointment to the post of acting Governor of the Oryol region.

“Andrey [Klychkov] appealed to the city Council a written application about early termination of powers of a Deputy of MGD following consideration of the draft on 23 October, the Commission recommends to the Duma to adopt the draft in first reading and in the absence of the amendments as a whole (in three readings – approx. TASS),” he said at a meeting on 25 October the Deputy Chairman of the Commission MHD on the organization of work of capital Parliament Andrey Metelsky.

The deputies unanimously voted for the adoption of the project.

Klychkov, in turn, thanked the parliamentarians for their joint work. “I’m sorry that I’m leaving this post in is not the easiest time. I’m sure you can handle it. The dialogue that has been built over the years for work in the Moscow city Duma, will remain”, – he said.

38-year-old Klychkov appointed acting Governor of Orel region October 5, 2017, by decree of the President of Russia, the same day the post of the head of the region left a 45-year-old Vadim Potomsky. He was appointed Deputy Plenipotentiary representative of the President in the Central Federal district.
