MOSCOW, October 26. /TASS/. Moscow regional Duma adopted in three readings amendments to the law “On state youth policy in Moscow region”, providing increase of the maximum age for members of suburban youth Parliament from 30 to 35 years, the correspondent of TASS.
“The draft law provides for the possibility of increasing the age of young people [in the Moscow youth Parliament] from 30 to 35 years”, – said the Chairman of the Committee of the Moscow region Duma on Affairs of youth and sports Oleg Zholobov, presenting the bill.
According to him, after the adoption of this law, the regional Parliament will consider appropriate changes to the law “On the youth Parliament”.
“In our view, the increasing age of our young parliamentarians would allow for better work both in municipalities and in the youth Parliament of Moscow region”, – said Zholobov.
