CHICAGO /Illinois/ 5 Nov. /TASS/. Members of Congress refused to meet with the new Russian Ambassador to the U.S. Anatoly Antonov to discuss those or other questions. He told this to journalists on Saturday on the sidelines of the annual conference of the Russian-American science Association in Chicago (USA).
“All requests for Congress to meet was refused. I’m very happy for Mr. [U.S. Ambassador to Russia John] Huntsman, what our parliamentarians warmly met him and expressed willingness to cooperate. Perhaps the movement from the other side will help to move the situation,” – said Antonov.
