MOSCOW, November 15. /TASS/. The President of Russia Vladimir Putin approved the regulation on the procedure of taking the oath of the citizen of the Russian Federation and a sample of her text. The corresponding presidential decree published on the official portal of legal information.
The document States that “a person in respect of whom… the decision on reception in citizenship of the Russian Federation takes the oath of the citizen of the Russian Federation the state flag of the Russian Federation”, “the oath is organized by the territorial authority of the interior Ministry or by the diplomatic mission or consular institution of the Russian Federation”. The decree States that “swearing can be carried out in premises of territorial bodies of the Ministry of internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, diplomatic representations or consular institutions of the Russian Federation, other state bodies, bodies of local government, historical places, places of military and labor glory, the mass graves of soldiers who died fighting for the freedom and independence of the Russian state”.
The one who takes the oath shall read aloud the text, “after which his own marks in the appropriate column form your name, first name and patronymic, date of Oath and signature”.
“I am voluntarily and knowingly accepting the citizenship of the Russian Federation I swear to respect the Constitution and the legislation of the Russian Federation, rights and freedoms of its citizens; to perform the duties of the citizen of the Russian Federation for the benefit of the state and society; to protect the freedom and independence of the Russian Federation; to be loyal to Russia, to respect its culture, history and traditions,” these words will need to sign the one making the Oath.
A law introducing the obligation of taking the oath of citizenship of the Russian Federation was adopted and signed by the President in July of this year.
