MOSCOW, March 15. /TASS/. The Russian Embassy in London receives threats against diplomats, the head of the Russian diplomatic mission to the UK Alexander Yakovenko on Thursday on air of TV channel “Russia 24”.
“With the main array of incoming calls to the Embassy receives and negative. These are the people who promise to deal with diplomats. In each case, we naturally work with the police and do our best with them [with the police] interact,” he said.
Yakovenko added that the treatment of threats are rare, but the Embassy is very serious about each case. “There are many mentally unstable people and people with a criminal past. From them we can expect anything,” said the diplomat.
The Ambassador stressed that the Russian side is satisfied with cooperation with London police investigating incoming threats.
