The Cabinet approved the mandatory labeling of tobacco, clothing, shoes, tyres and spirits 2019


MOSCOW, may 3. /TASS/. The Russian government approved the list of goods that will be subject to mandatory labeling in 2019. As noted in the order of the Cabinet of Ministers published on the official website of the government during 2019 will be mandatory labelling of tobacco products perfumes and toilet waters, tires, garments, coats, coats and jackets, bed, table, toilet and kitchen linen, shoes, and cameras.

Start date mandatory labeling of certain groups differ from 1 March 2019 (tobacco products) until December 1, 2019 (perfumes, tires, clothing, etc.). Marking shoes will be required from 1 July 2019.

“The list of goods is formed taking into account characteristics of the market and conditions turnover in the relevant markets, – stated in the message on the website of the Cabinet. – The goal of the decision – decline in the turnover of counterfeit products in Russia.”

In the spring of 2016 in Russia launched a project on electronic marking of RFID tags in fur products, and on 12 August marking became mandatory on the territory of EurAsEC. For marking use RFID tags (Radio Frequency IDentification, radio frequency identification products), able to store data and to transfer them in a contactless manner. The existence of such labels confirms that the goods have been fully paid all tax and customs payments. Today in Russia, the mandatory labelling of fur products and medicines.
