MOSCOW, may 9. /TASS/. The acting Minister of industry and trade Denis Manturov does not rule out the possibility that the government will provide financial support to the “Power machines” in the development of gas turbines in 2018.
“Certainly, – said Manturov, answering the question TASS, will they receive such support. – We have a program with the Ministry of energy on import substitution and reduced dependence on foreign manufacturers in part the fuel and energy sector and energy including. Currently in Russia there is own development of the production of high-power gas turbines. Currently the project of creating such a turbine works in conjunction with rostec, RUSNANO. In early April of this year, Power machines said it was willing to develop the technology of gas turbines, which were previously supplied by Siemens, fully localized the production of this type of equipment.
